Learners will be able to identify payment for purchasing food, follow steps for ordering, and engage in turn taking conversations from structured before, during and after activities. Terms of Use

Version #1: In the BEFORE activity (prior to your CBI), learners will observe and follow along with a role play completed by teachers (script provided w/ visuals). Learners will answer questions as an activity comprehension. In the DURING activity, learners will follow a visual checklist to order, eat and clean up. Learners will participate in turn taking conversations via visual prompts. For the AFTER activity, learners will reflect on their restaurant experience by circling visual choice questions.

Version #2: In the BEFORE activity, learners will participate in group work to complete a role play (script included) - providing positive and constructive feedback to their peers. Learners will complete the activity by answering follow up questions. In the DURING activity, learners will follow a visual checklist to order, eat and clean up. Learners will participate in turn taking conversations via visual prompts. For the AFTER activity, learners will complete a reflection which covers areas of growth, feelings and a short receipt review.

Version #3: In the BEFORE activity, learners will participate in group work to complete a role play - providing positive and constructive feedback to their peers. Learners will create their own script as a group and answer follow up questions. DURING the CBI, learners will follow a checklist to order, eat and clean up. Learners will participate in turn taking conversations via prompts. For the AFTER activity, learners will complete a reflection which covers areas of growth, feelings, budgets, receipt review and conversation prompt ideas.
